Software License Agreement

License grant

MakeRoof Tools grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual right to use eligible versions of the purchased product on the number of devices included in the purchase, subject to this agreement. It does not include a SketchUp license. License activation and validation require an internet connection.

Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. MakeRoof Tools retains all intellectual-property rights in the software, documentation, branding, and related materials.

Restrictions

You may not distribute or sublicense the software, share it beyond the licensed user or organization, circumvent activation controls, or use a single device entitlement on multiple computers.

Updates

Paid licenses include one year of updates. Your update-expiry date is shown in your license information. Expiration of update coverage does not, by itself, end your right to use an eligible version. Versions released after that date require renewed update coverage.

Extension Warehouse edition

The same license entitlement applies to the website and Extension Warehouse editions. Extension Warehouse distributes extension packages; downloading or installing an update does not extend your MakeRoof update entitlement. If you install a version outside your entitlement, contact MakeRoof support for assistance with an eligible version or renewal.

Update the Extension Warehouse edition through Extension Warehouse. Contact makeroof3D@gmail.com before changing versions if you need help checking your entitlement.

Transfer and deactivation

A computer change may require deactivation or support verification. Transfers must remain within the purchased device limit.

Termination

The license may be revoked for a completed refund, fraudulent purchase, material breach, or unlawful use.
